Autumn news

The excitement continues with the launching of my one man show at the Washington Technologies corporate offices in Centreville, VA. Forty five watercolor paintings are on exhibit on the first floor gallery where 1,400 employees will be viewing scenes from around the world.

Some paint out events took place in October to welcome the autumn colors. We were at the Bull Run Battlefield park painting different views of Henrys Hill although; the wind almost blew our painting equipment away.

On Oct. 26, 2008 we also painted on the northern banks of the Potomac River in MD. near Anglers Inn. Here again the weather conditions were not perfect with a thick fog laying over the river which eventually lifted clearing the way for painters to view a burst of autumn colors.

Oatlands Plantation will exhibit miniature paintings starting Nov. 16th. Four of my fine miniature watercolor paintings will be entered . They will be hung in the Carriage House Gallery. The location is a very popular historical property dating back before the Civil War. Hope you can come by and check them out in person.
